About This Service

Done to Spec, Signed Off

Some repairs — structural collision damage, modifications, heavy chassis work — can't just be done and handed back. They need a cert engineer to inspect the work, confirm it meets standards, and issue the paperwork that makes the car legal again. We do the work, manage the cert engineer relationship, and make sure your repair is fully documented from start to sign-off.

  • LVV and repair certification
  • Engineer liaison and inspection scheduling
  • Documentation and photo records kept
  • Repair done to certifier-approved standard

  4. Inspection and Cert

Final inspection by the cert engineer, paperwork issued, vehicle legal and on the road.

Common Questions

FAQ

Do I need a cert after a collision?
Sometimes — usually only on heavier structural damage. We'll tell you at quoting whether your repair will require certification.
Can I bring my own cert engineer?
Yes — if you have an existing relationship with a cert engineer you trust, we're happy to work with them. Otherwise we have engineers we work with regularly.
Will the cert add a lot of cost?
Cert fees are set by the engineer and vary by job complexity. We include the cert fee in our quote so there are no surprises.
