Mention you need a courtesy car when you book your repair. Subject to availability, so earlier is better.

Bring your car to 132 Ellis Street. We’ll check you in and run through the quick paperwork.

Bring your driver licence. We hand over the keys, note the fuel and condition, and you’re away.

When your car’s ready we call you. Return the courtesy car with similar fuel and collect yours.

Nothing sneaky — just the bits worth knowing before you drive off.
- For repair customers Courtesy cars are for customers with a vehicle booked in with us, subject to availability.
- Full, current licence Drivers need a valid NZ or overseas licence. Minimum age may apply — ask when booking.
- Return it fuelled You cover fuel. Please bring it back with a similar level to how it left.
- Look after it Return it in the condition you got it. You’re responsible for fines, tolls and any new damage.
- Around the Waikato Built for local running about. Let us know first if you’re planning a longer trip.
- No smoking, no pets Keeps the next customer’s drive as fresh as yours. Cleaning fees apply otherwise.

Is the courtesy car free?
For customers booked in for repairs, there’s no hire fee — you just cover the fuel you use. Conditions apply, so confirm when you book.
How do I get one?
Tell us you need a car when you book your repair. They’re first-come, first-served, so the earlier you ask the better your chances.
What do I need to bring?
A valid driver licence and yourself. We’ll handle the quick paperwork and note the fuel and condition before you go.
How long can I keep it?
For as long as your car is with us being repaired. When yours is ready, we’ll call you to swap back.
What if something happens to it?
The car is insured for everyday driving. You’re responsible for any excess, fines or tolls — we’ll walk you through it at handover.
