About This Service

Geometry, Not Guesswork

After a heavy collision, panel work alone isn't enough — the chassis itself needs to come back to factory spec or the car will track, wear tyres, and crash-test poorly. We use 3D measuring to pinpoint exactly where the rails have moved, then pull and verify against factory data points before any paint goes near it.

  • 3D computerised chassis measuring
  • Hydraulic pull rig with anchor points
  • Pre- and post-repair measurement report
  • Cert engineer liaison where required

Inclusions

What's Included

3D Measure

Laser-accurate measurement against factory data — before, during and after the pull.

Pull and Verify

Hydraulic rig with multi-point anchors and live measurement feedback.

Suspension Check

Mount points and pickup geometry inspected as part of the job.

Cert Liaison

We liaise with the cert engineer where the work requires sign-off.

How It Works

Our Process

  1. Initial Assessment

Vehicle scoped, paint stripped where needed to access the rails.

  2. Baseline Measure

3D measure against factory data — every deviation logged.

  3. Pull and Re-Measure

Pulled in stages with live measurement until the chassis is back to spec.

  4. Sign Off

Final measurement report, cert sign-off if required, ready for panel and paint.

Our Work

Bent, Measured, Back to Spec

Chassis pulled back to factory data on the bench. Run your eye across the seam — the damage on one side, the measurement that proves it straight on the other.

Chassis on the bench measured back to factory spec Vehicle chassis rail bent out of line after a side impact Before After

Side-Impact Rail Pull

A rail pushed out of line after a side hit. Pulled in stages with live 3D measurement until every point matched factory data — signed off with a printed report.

Front Rail & Strut Tower

Front-end hit that moved the strut tower. Anchored to the bench and brought back so the wheel aligns and the panels fit again.

Common Questions

FAQ

How do you know the chassis is straight?
We measure against the manufacturer's factory data points in three dimensions — length, width and height — before, during and after the pull. You get a written measurement report.
Will my insurance cover chassis straightening?
In most cases, yes — chassis damage is structural and is usually included in a comprehensive claim. We deal directly with assessors.
Does the work need a cert?
Sometimes — depending on the extent of damage and the model. If certification is required, we coordinate the cert engineer as part of the job.
