About This Service

Back to Factory Finish

A panel and paint job is more than touch-up — it's structural, cosmetic and protective work that has to stand up to weather, wash bays, and another fifteen years of Kiwi sun. We've been doing it from this same Frankton workshop since 1974, and every job stays in-house from the first strip down to the final cut and polish.

  • Computerised paint colour matching to factory codes
  • In-house prep, paint booth, and cut-and-polish bay
  • All makes and models — Japanese, European, classic
  • Insurance-grade repairs with photo documentation

Our Work

Before the Crash, After the Booth

Collision and cosmetic jobs finished in our own booth. Run your eye across the seam — the damage on one side, the result on the other.

Front-End Collision

Common Questions

FAQ

How long does a panel and paint job take?
Most cosmetic panel-and-paint jobs are completed in 5–10 working days, depending on parts availability and the size of the repair. We give a firm timeline at quoting.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes. We work with all major NZ insurers on private claims and deal directly with assessors. Bring your claim number and we handle the rest.
Can you match any paint colour?
Yes — we use computerised paint matching against factory colour codes, including metallics, pearls and tri-coats. On older or faded vehicles we blend adjacent panels for an invisible repair.
Is the workmanship guaranteed?
Every job comes with a workmanship guarantee. If there's an issue with the repair, bring it back and we'll put it right.
