About This Service

Done Right, Once

A failed WOF on rust isn't a paint job — it's a metalwork job. Surface rust needs to be cut out down to clean steel, new metal welded in if structural, then treated, sealed and finished so it doesn't come back through the paint in eighteen months. We've been doing it the right way for over fifty years.

  • Surface and structural rust assessed
  • Cut, weld, treat to WOF-grade standard
  • Cavity wax and underbody protection
  • Pass-WOF guarantee on repaired areas

Common Questions

FAQ

My WOF failed on rust — what now?
Bring the failure slip in. We'll inspect, quote, and book you in. Most pre-WOF rust repairs are completed in 2–5 days depending on extent.
Do you guarantee it'll pass WOF?
We guarantee the workmanship on the areas we repair. We also recommend resubmitting WOF at a different tester than the one who failed it, to keep the inspection fully fresh.
Will the rust come back?
Not where we've worked — we cut back to clean steel and treat the cavity. If rust elsewhere develops, we can come back to it. Underbody coating helps protect the rest of the car.

Failed your WOF on rust?

Bring the failure slip and the car. We'll quote on the spot.
